Braitenberg vehicles are very simple robotic creatures with distinct personalities. They move around using their wheels which are controlled independently by light sensors.
You have two types of robots: ones that like light and always run towards it, and others that are afraid of it, so they try to escape to a safe place. On top of it, these robots differ in their intelligence. They can be mindless and unable to go around obstacles, or very clever, trying to find the way out of a labyrinth.
This app allows you to experiment: play with different numbers of robots and obstacles, drag and drop them on the screen. See different behaviors with the light on or off.
The app idea was selected for a WWDC19 scholarship.
